My Visit Was On August 24 & 25 2001.
The Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Museum Is Located In Cleveland, Ohio. It Is Easily Accessed By Train From The Cleveland/Hopkins International Airport. In 20 Minutes And $1.50 In Train Fare You're There. The Transit Workers Are Friendly And Helpful And Will Assist You In Finding Your Way There. NO CAMERAS ARE PERMITTED. Admission Is 15.00 for Adults. The Hours Are 10 AM To 5:30 PM Daily Except For Wednesdays When They Are Open Later Til 9 PM. There Is A Parking Gararge Near The Museum For Those Who Drive There. Downtown Cleveland Is Very Clean And The Traffic Is Light Most Of The Time. There Are Plenty Of Interstate Highways Nearby If You Want To Travel Further. The Holiday Inn Select Is Located Within Walking Distance Of The Museum. It Is Also Within Walking Distance Of The Cleveland Indians Jacobs Field. The Cleveland Browns Football Stadium Is Located Right Next To The Musuem. There Is Also A Natural Science Museum, And 2 Floating Ship Museums Right Next To The Hall Of Fame. ALL HOTELS PROVIDE FREE TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN THE HOTEL AND THE AIRPORT, To And From. You Can Also Take The Train To The Tourist District Called "The Flats" For Shopping, A Movie, Amusements, etc.


The Jimi Hendrix Surround Sound Theatre
This Is A Card, Available At The RNR HOF, Announces The Jimi Hendrix Surround Sound Theatre.In It, There Is A 15 Minute Film Clip Which Plays Continuously, Featuring Clips From Hendrix Home Video Releases, The Dick Cavett Show 1969, And 2 Full Song Performances From The Isle Of Wight 1970 Video. (Spanish Castle Magic, All Along The Watchtower).
  The Jimi Hendrix Exhibit
The Jimi Hendrix Exhibit Consisted Of The Surround Sound Theatre. A Wall Display Of Rare Concert And Promotional Posters. A Floor Display That Contained The Hendrix Family Sofa And Record Player, And One Of Jimi's Guitar Cases And Amplifiers From His Pre-Fame Days. A Second Wall Display Had More Posters, 4 Guitars, 2 Jackets, A Pair Of Shoes, The Rainbow Bridge Jacket, The Isle Of Wight Butterfly Outfit, And The Patchwork Velvet Jacket From The Isle Of Fehmarn. A Floor Display Case Under This Contained Reproductions Of Handwritten Lyrics. A Third Wall Display Had Original Childhood Drawings And Original Handwritten Lyrics To Purple Haze, Who Knows, Message Of Love, Power Of Soul, And Some Others Which I Don't Recall. There Also Was A Video Of A 15 Minute Interview With Al Hendrix. There Were Audio Kiyosks With Touch Screen Menus Which Contained The Entire Jimi Hendrix Experience Box Set.

This Is A Photo Postcard Available At The RNR HOF.
It Shows The Jacket Jimi Wore During His Last Official Concert At The Isle Of Fehmarn, Germany September 6, 1970. The Actual Jacket Is On Display At The Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Museum.
